Uniquely Creative Kit for October-Under the gum leaves

A cute Aussie themed kit with some Christmas elements.

I created this one for the sketch challenge on the Hip Kit Club. I painted some black acrylic paint onto white card stock. chose some favourite patterned papers and cut them into squares, added some cute chipboard shapes and a banner I cut from the same papers. The title was cut on my Cameo Silhouette and painted gold. A few splatters of black Liquitex acrylic ink and it was done.

This was the sketch. I’m happy to say I won a voucher to use in their shop. Thanks Hip Kit Club.

Loving this cut file by Paige Taylor Evans. Its called Poppies and is free on her Facebook page Happy Scrappy Place.
I backed it with a mixture of scrap papers. To learn how to back cut files easily, try this link to Paige’s You tube process video.

This cute bow from Silhouette Design Studio.

A fun bright layout using lots of collectables and also some fussy cut flowers from the papers in this awesome kit for July.

Lots of little pics of Remy getting ready for her big night of year 6 graduation. Shes not a girly girl but she did wear a cute girly outfit for this occasion and let her sisters do hair and makeup which was so fun to watch.
I made little tags for each photo and embellished with lots of the collectables and cut apart sheet.

The add on tyre clusters die is very cool. I have cut it apart for this layout and used the seperate pieces.

You also get a great stencil and background stamp with this kit.

The Kaiser Denim ink pad comes in the kit too! I have used it here to swipe across the white cardstock to make this simple background. If you add water it has watercolour effect, so many options. The brick die is an add on, gives great texture to your layout.

And another layout using this kit, with a bit of mixed media on the background using the stencil and some watercolours. Hope this makes you want to pull out your paint and paper and create a masterpiece of your own!
