For a lovely lady at work that changed jobs. Orange is one of my favourite colours!

I decided to start a travellers notebook which I will use to document our caravan trips away…but this is a little card I made  to remind us of things to come.

This is the paint and wax I purchased to do up my desk. I love the pink it already is but its not practical and is showing all the wear so I needed to give it a makeover.

 

Washed it down with soapy water and let it dry overnight.

 

It looks so good I wanted to taste it…..thick and creamy…..mmmmm

The first coat is patchy and doesn’t look nice…

 

This is one coat not dry.

This is 2 coats nearly dry…next is waxing, which I will do today. Will be posting the finished item soon….Love this colour, its called French Linen.

I received my new Clover (green) Carpe Diem Planner last week and I must say I LOVE IT. Michelle from the stamp spot kindly ordered it in for me and the Reset girl accessories. They are adorable and I don’t want to use them on my planner, I want to make a layout with them. The girls are so sweet and all the little bits and pieces are divine. Washi tape, stickers with words and dividers, love it all. Haven’t done any scrapbooking lately as I have been having a change around with the whole layout of our lounge/dining/scrapbooking area….desks have changed and Im scaling down. Hope to get something done this week when I’m a bit more organised.
