A recent layout of Remy doing some scooter tricks. I used some texture paste with a Kaisercraft stencil to achieve the small crosses on the background, this is a favourite stencil. Then some watercolour, then paint, and a mixture of paper and accents. The paint unfortunately warps the page so I will need to glue it onto another page and maybe I will sew around the edges, just to flatten it out nicely. When the pages finally go into albums, they flatten down!

This weekend I decided to visit the local scrapbooking shop in my neighbourhood which has been there a while…a few years and I had only been there once before when it first opened and it was pretty small. This time it was bigger and I found loads of lovely things to look at. I only bought 3 pieces of patterned paper which is pretty amazing considering Im a paper junkie. However, I did purchase 2 sets of stamps by Cocoa Vanilla. I liked both sets and couldn’t decide, so I bought myself both sets! Also A little packet of the most delightful enamel hearts and dots in gorgeous pale tones….just love them.

So these cards were made before I purchased those, the last card I used the stamps on, but I have yet to use the papers….more card making today!
