I need to use up some of my old stash so have been pulling out all sorts of things that I love and want to use on my projects instead of leaving them in the cupboard. I have used the cover of a Heidi Swapp book that had little rip out quotes, the cover was cute too, black and white spots and stripes which I have used in the layers behind the photo. Thanks for visiting.
Lots of layers of goodness in here. some PL cards, a bit of Crate Paper, and some Kaisercraft letter stickers and collectables.
The stem is a die cut using a Kaisercraft die. I love it, very versatile.
Thanks for visiting, hope I have inspired someone to try the background process, its a lot of fun using stencils.
A photo of my 3 girls and I at Remy’s year 6 graduation in December 2018. The pictures were taken at the lake at 5.30-6pm when the light is golden, the girls call it golden hour as it always makes you look good in photos.
I used Liquitex heavy body paints on plain white cardstock, then Liquitex modelling paste with a Heidi Swapp stencil ( dots ). I then put some tacky glue on and smeared it with my fingers and lay down a small sheet of gold leaf. Let it dry and then used a stiff paintbrush to brush away the unstuck gold leaf. Some feathers cut on my silhouette cameo and sewed them on the page, a few Kaisercraft journal cards and a cut up quote, finishing with some cotton and a few embellishments and mounted it on Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight paper. Also added some little gold star rub ons from One canoe two. Thanks for visiting.
I don’t usually scrapbook photos of just me, but this is a recent pic taken the 2nd January and I decided it needed to be documented that Im an OVER SHARER and will happily admit it. It embarrasses me sometimes and it embarrasses my girls a lot, but its just me and that’s how I am!
I chose lots of my favourite papers for this one, it seemed to just evolve on my desk and I quite like how it turned out.
I was inspired by the picture of the sailor girl with red lips, and her blue and white shorts, it took me to this photo which I have been meaning to scrap.
The 2018 title is actually red foil numbers but very hard to photograph shiny items. Will need to get some practice with my photography!
I have used a Heidi Swapp stencil and Liquitex modelling paste followed by some red watercolour from my Gansai Tambi Kuretake water colour set that I LOVE! Lots of layers of gorgeous paper.
Thanks for visiting.
I actually did the base of this layout a few weeks back. It has Liquitex modelling paste used with a beautiful rose stencil by Kaisercraft and then some watercolours painted over it. I love it but what photo can I use… so it sat on my desk for the longest time and then I found this on my camera!
Using a cut file from Iheartstudio and some gorgeous Heavy body acrylic paint by Liquitex. I started this layout with a thin coat of gesso so my page wouldn’t buckle with all the paint. Then after it dried I used Liquitex heavy body acrylic paint in a few different colours mixed together as I painted them on the page. Let it dry which is very frustrating for me !!!!
I used a Kaisercraft stencil to apply Liquitex Matt Gel Medium and sprinkled it with gold glitter. I used Martha Stewart Smokey Quartz glitter, its a beautiful fine glitter and I love this colour, I use it a lot. Then I LET IT DRY….I added the cut file, some black ink splatters using Liquitex Acrylic Ink (this stuff is incredible). I also added a little bit of washi tape and a few old black rubons, a few tiny heart stickers and to finish off I stitched around the page onto some cute dotty paper from Cocoa Vanilla Studio.
