Loving this bright range-Blessed by Kaisercraft. The black and white elements are really lovely. I just layered a bunch of papers and collectables, all from the Blessed range. Added some gold sequins and a gingham bow.
I couldn’t resist using all the stickers in a row, they are all so gorgeous! More is always a lovely idea.I used a stencil and some texture paste to create the flowers on the background. I coloured the texture paste with Liquitex acrylic ink and then very carefully added the green on the leaves of the stencil and pink on the flowers, it was a little tricky to do whilst holding the stencil in place but worth the effort, it came up looking so pretty.Because I layered the stickers and used foam adhesive squares to get some height, I dusted the back of the stickers with my anti static powder bag. It sorts out the stickiness and then I just add the foam squares.
A close up of the texture paste flowers.
Some lovely layers using mostly Simple Stories, but theres a little piece of Dear Lizzy vellum that went beautifully with everything else. Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope I have inspired someone to get out the crafty stuff this weekend and make something beautiful.
The month of Love and my 1st layout for February is inspired by the new February challenge up on White with 1.
I painted a big red heart with Liquitex heavy body paint on white card stock but it looked unfinished and too rough for the look I wanted, so I cut out the heart and machine stitched around it a couple of times.
I used my old type writer to do some journaling.
I love these little cameras, I fussy cut a couple out for embellishments.
There seems to be so many sticker sheets in my stash so I thought I would make a big effort this year to use up as much as I can. My one little word this year is REDUCE ! Soooo many cute things that get left behind for the new stuff you buy, but these beauties are still a winner in my eyes. Big letters from Basic Grey, mini alpha is My Little Shoebox.
Lots of layers using some Kaisercraft, very old Stampin’ Up and Amy Tangerine-Oh Happy Life. Thanks for visiting. I hope you are inspired to use up your stash!
