Take Me Away

Using some beautiful Pink Paisley papers from a 6″x6″ pad on this layout. Paige Taylor Evans Take Me Away collection works a treat with my rainbow texture paste background. Those gold word stickers are gorgeous from American Crafts.
This cake cut file is one of Paige Taylor Evans, available from the Silhouette Design Store.
I backed it with lots of lovely little pieces of Take Me Away. A few sequins and some novo crystal drops.
A free cut file from Cocoa Vanilla Studio tucked under the photo to add some dimension.
The pink flower and bow are both cut files from the Silhouette Design Store too.
I have also used a die cut from Uniquely Creative for the little stems of berries. I love these little branches, they are so delicate and add such a lovely touch to so many projects. Thanks for visiting my blog today, I hope you are inspired to go and make something.

Grandpa Layout using Uniquely Creative May kit

Not the greatest photo, but this layout is very special about my Grandpa, and I enjoyed creating this layout with all the wonderful cogs and burlap, corrugated card and cork. Uniquely Creative May kit is great for feminine or masculine layouts, and I loved everything in it.
This is a really great way to include memorabilia but not have it on show.
I made a fold out section using the photo as I had a small book from my Grandpas funeral and some newspaper clippings I wanted to include.
Some machine stitching added because I like the look ! Plus it adds interest. I painted the cogs with watercolour paint and also the corrugated card was painted with watercolours. I used the Wonky Punchinella die to cut out cork behind the burlap banner.
That cork is awesome to use with a die.
I hope this inspires you to use cork on your layouts, its my new favourite thing! I used the Uniquely Creative Cork Alphabet for the title and also the Giant Outline Numbers Die. So many different ways you can use the numbers dies as you get the outline and the solid numbers, I love them!

Uniquely Creative May Kit

Using the new Antiquities range and some goodies in the May kit for Uniquely Creative. There are step by step instructions for this layout in the kit.
I really enjoyed using all the texture items on this layout. The corrugated card, burlap and copper wire. Then the stamp in the kit and a splash of watercolour paint.
Some random machine stitching always adds interest.
I hope this layout inspires you to grab the May Kit and create some layouts and cards.
