Complicated

I created this one for the sketch challenge on the Hip Kit Club. I painted some black acrylic paint onto white card stock. chose some favourite patterned papers and cut them into squares, added some cute chipboard shapes and a banner I cut from the same papers. The title was cut on my Cameo Silhouette and painted gold. A few splatters of black Liquitex acrylic ink and it was done.

This was the sketch. I’m happy to say I won a voucher to use in their shop. Thanks Hip Kit Club.

Poppies

Loving this cut file by Paige Taylor Evans. Its called Poppies and is free on her Facebook page Happy Scrappy Place.

I backed it with a mixture of scrap papers. To learn how to back cut files easily, try this link to Paige’s You tube process video.

This cute bow from Silhouette Design Studio.

Some other cute stuff from Felicity Jane. The alphabet, cute paper and pot with aloe. The background is texture paste using a stencil from Uniquely Creative and some watercolour paint. I hope I have inspired you today to have a play with your craft stuff. It always soothes my soul when I create something.

More for the Magenta July kit

A fun bright layout using lots of collectables and also some fussy cut flowers from the papers in this awesome kit for July.

Lots of little pics of Remy getting ready for her big night of year 6 graduation. Shes not a girly girl but she did wear a cute girly outfit for this occasion and let her sisters do hair and makeup which was so fun to watch.

I made little tags for each photo and embellished with lots of the collectables and cut apart sheet.

August Kit-Workshop

A multi photo layout using the new August kit from Uniquely Creative Kit Club
Full of masculine colours and elements but also great for other girls too….

The add on tyre clusters die is very cool. I have cut it apart for this layout and used the seperate pieces.

You also get a great stencil and background stamp with this kit.

The Kaiser Denim ink pad comes in the kit too! I have used it here to swipe across the white cardstock to make this simple background. If you add water it has watercolour effect, so many options. The brick die is an add on, gives great texture to your layout.

And another layout using this kit, with a bit of mixed media on the background using the stencil and some watercolours. Hope this makes you want to pull out your paint and paper and create a masterpiece of your own!

Magenta July Kit

The July kit for Uniquely Creative is predominantly pink and beautiful, flowers, lace, gorgeous feathery leaf dies and candy coloured mist. I was really excited when it came in the mail as I have all girls and pink is a staple in my scrapbooking. This is the first layout I created with lots of fussy cut flowers and leaves. I cut the lace into seperate flowers and sprayed it with the mist to create these gorgeous bright flowers using the glass domes for centres.

I felt the need to create a layout with no pink at all from this kit. The laser cut word and hoop around the photo screamed out to me and I used the Uniquely creative watercolour set to do some green splattering on my page. Theres a lot of grey and black in this kit also which came in handy for the non pink layout! The flowers are from the collectables pack and I love the black and white, so easy to use. I hope these layouts inspire you to try out one of Uniquely Creatives Kits, they are so easy to work with and you make so many layouts with them.
