Ocean Breeze accordion album – Uniquely Creative’s new December Collection

Well here’s something new and different from Uniquely Creative. An accordion album. The new dies are awesome, a view finder, film strip and a cute word “Great View”
Pretty beachy coloured papers made me reach for some beach photos for this one and I love how it turned out.
I added some stitching to each page before I adhered them to the album. I use Gutterman top stitch thread, its thick and lovely, but you may need to change up your sewing machine needle to a larger hole so you can easily thread it.
The sheet of burlap cuts and sews beautifully and I used it several times throughout the album.
I added some cascading photos to one page and a couple of fold out pages as well. You can view the process on you tube. I will add the link below.
Cascading photos.
Fold out page.
Theres the new die GREAT VIEW I have added to the top of my photo. I used the view finder die to make this interactive page. The fishing net stamp was used in the background.
The basketweave stamp was used in the background of this page and I used a water pen to move the oxide ink around. Oxide ink colour is MERMAID LAGOON. The corrugated card looks awesome as a background.

The film strip die is really cool, you can fill it with photos or fussy cut elements. It even looks great on its own.

Another fold out page so I could add extra photos.
The finished album ends up being quite thick.
This is the other cover of the album which is not in the video. I have used gesso and oxide inks for this cover, topped with some corrugated card and the view finder die. Some fussy cut elements from the papers and some burlap with tags from the cut a part sheet complete the look. I hope you give this album a try.
