Country Roads Card Set

Country Roads Collection by Uniquely Creative is great for masculine cards. I created a set of cards recently for kits at my local scrapbook shop A Place To Create-Arana Hills. This kit is now available for purchase.
I used the 6×6 paper pad to make the cards and all the trimmings were from the collection.
The creative cuts go a long way when you are making cards. I had a lot left after making these! I will use them on layouts.
Kraft cardstock pairs with this collection beautifully, so I used it for a few of the card bases.

I hope you are having a restful creative weekend.

Country Roads by Uniquely Creative

I struggle to create masculine cards usually! But this one came together quite quickly and I just kept layering. Find the collection HERE.
I’m not sure what the trick is to getting the right combination of layers, just keep trying things until it looks balanced. I play with all the pieces for a while before committing to adhere. Then just add some gems and a splatter of paint!
That laser cut light bulb is the cutest! Hope you have a go at making some cards today. Happy weekend.

Uniquely Creative February Collection-Country Roads

This fabulous photo needed to be documented. This is just one piece of patterned paper and one piece of white cardstock. I added glimmer spray and sequins to bling up the waves.
I used the Sea Mark Making Stamp to add some “water spray” using Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean and Broken China. I also used the branding strip to embellish this page.
The Creative Cuts in this months Collection are really fun and easy to add to cards or layouts. Ive used lots of them to embellish this simple layout.
Tearing the paper gives you such a lovely effect and seems to work really well as the waves on this layout. Check out the whole collection here.
Happy Sunday friends.

BOY Layout!

Heres something different for me…a Boy layout. lol…I don’t have boys of my own but my partner has a couple. The new Country Roads Collection from Uniquely Creative is perfect for masculine pics and I have teamed it with Kraft cardstock (my fav if you are new to my blog )

Here’s a better view of all the lovely layers including some stamping in the background using a Mini Mark Making Stamp by Uniquely Creative called Tracks. I love it! This layout will be available as a kit from my lovely local scrapbooking store A PLACE TO CREATE its in Arana hills, Brisbane. It’s a rainy scrapbooking day today.
